Multi-Flux EO-B-024C was developed for wave, selective and hand soldering processes as well as strand tinning and is a latest generation no-clean flux. It contains special activators that additionally strengthen the soldering process. It can be applied using all standard application methods (except foaming). The solids content is 4 wt.-% and is corrosion-free. This flux is very versatile and OSP-compatible. It delivers good results in wave, selective and hand soldering as well as in cable assembly/wire tinning. The generally applicable rule of keeping applied flux quantities as low as possible also applies to this product. For further information on ingredients (hazardous substances), safe handling, storage, transportation and disposal, please refer to the current safety data sheet (SDS, SDS, MSDS).
Spray fluxes: First set the flux dosage to 15 - 30 ml/min. and ensure even distribution (test with thermal paper if necessary). Then correct to the optimum quantity.
Preheating: A preheating temperature of 80 - 110 °C is recommended for "simple" PCBs and 100 - 130 °C for "more complex" PCBs. It can be used in both leaded and lead-free solder systems.
