HTW-49 contains halogen-free activators and was specially developed for immersion tinning, selective and manual soldering processes and cable assembly. In principle, the application can be carried out in any way adapted to the individual case (spray fluxing can only be determined by preliminary tests due to the high solids content).
HTW-49 is completely free of corrosion.
Recommendation from practice:
This flux is very versatile. Good results have been achieved in both hand soldering and dip tinning as well as in strand tinning. The generally applicable rule that the amount of flux applied should always be as low as possible also applies to this product.
Due to its formulation, this special flux is also suitable for "PREFLUXING".
This flux can be used to pre-treat components that are to be tinned or soldered at a later stage.
