Emil Otto GmbH will be attending SMT in Nuremberg with a series of new developments. The flux manufacturer from Rheingau will be presenting a new product, particularly in the field of environmentally friendly selective soldering. "We will be presenting the product for the first time at the trade fair. Just this much, we will be presenting a technical premiere that will bring many new advantages for customers, especially in selective soldering," reveals Markus Geßner, authorized signatory of Emil Otto GmbH.
Emil Otto will also be presenting new products in the field of multi-flux fluxes to the specialist audience. "Our customers kept asking us whether we could develop fluxes for a wide range of applications," explains Geßner. Small and medium-sized companies in particular expressed this wish, as they wanted to use a standardized flux for as many soldering processes as possible. Emil Otto therefore presented the fluxes EO-B-001, EO-B-002 and EO-B-003 from the multi-flux series to the public at productronica 2015. With EO-B-004, EO-B-005 and EO-Y-001 and EO-Y-002, further multi-use fluxes are now following.
Emil Otto is thus further expanding its range of flexible fluxes. "Our aim is to have the right flux in our range for all customer groups. This is because many of our customers have developed over the years from small businesses to medium-sized companies. We want to grow with our customers and it is therefore important for us to be able to offer a wide range of products," explains Geßner.
Emil Otto pursues this strategy not only with its own fluxes. In addition to these products, Emil Otto now offers a wide range of products for assembly and connection technology. In addition to solders and solder pastes, the range also includes cleaning media and SMD adhesives. When asked, Geßner leaves open the extent to which there will be further cooperation with well-known manufacturers.
The Emil Otto stand is located in Hall 7A, Stand 505.
