Emil Otto introduces further flux paste for repair work

The flux paste EO-FP-002 was specially developed for SMD repair applications and is suitable for both SnPb and Pb-free alloys. It is characterized by high activity and good wetting and spreading properties and can therefore be dispensed sparingly. It is applied precisely using plastic tips. This enables precise dosing and positioning of the paste. "We deliberately avoid using steel needles, as these can easily scratch PCBs when applied manually," says Markus Geßner, Marketing and Sales Manager at Emil Otto GmbH.

Flux paste is a paste-like electronic flux with halogen-free activators. The paste is highly viscous and delivers very good results in the SMD range due to its temperature stability. It can be used for all types of manual and repair soldering. The flux paste is also suitable for dip tinning and special applications. It can be applied using a hot air or soldering iron.
