Emil Otto launches optimized system cleaner Etimol SEM 12 RAA/NF on the market

With the new Etimol SEM 12 RAA/NF system cleaner, Emil Otto is launching an optimized version of the established Etimol SEM 12 RAA cleaning agent. The cleaner is characterized by an improved cleaning effect and also leaves no sticky residue even if it has not been completely removed with a cloth.
Etimol SEM 12 RAA/NF solar cleaner

The Etimol SEM 12 RAA/NF is a pH-alkaline electronics cleaner formulated on a water basis with special organic solvents. This formulation efficiently removes baked flux and condensates as well as outgassing from PCBs in reflow, wave, selective and vapor phase soldering systems. In addition, the cleaner has a mild odor even when used in hot soldering systems. Due to the low foaming formulation, better cleaning results can be achieved.

The ready-to-use, label-free cleaning medium is sprayed directly onto the surface to be cleaned at room temperature and wiped off after a reaction time of a few minutes. Due to the innovative mixture, the mixture leaves no residue as soon as soldering temperatures of >200 °C are reached in the systems. The system cleaner consists exclusively of high-purity substances that have been selected for use in electronics production. This also prevents corrosion. The solvent-water-based formulation has been specially developed to ensure a high level of occupational safety and cleaning efficiency. This means that cleaning media containing flammable and hazardous solvents can be dispensed with in the production area.
