Emil Otto takes part in innovation forum in Böblingen for the first time

On March 13, 2019, the 7th EPP Innovation Forum Germany will take place in the Kongresshalle Böblingen. This year, the German flux manufacturer Emil Otto GmbH will be taking part in the event for the first time and presenting itself to an interested specialist audience in south-west Germany.

"Southern Germany, especially Baden-Württemberg, is a very important market for us, which makes participation in the Innovation Forum very interesting for us," says Markus Geßner, Head of Sales and Marketing at Emil Otto GmbH, explaining the reasons for taking part. Thanks to the compact event structure, a lively exchange with existing customers and potential new customers is possible. "This in particular is a decisive factor for us to take part in the event," continues Geßner.

As an owner-managed company, Emil Otto has dedicated itself to the development and manufacture of high-quality fluxes for the electronics industry. In recent years, the focus has been on the development of so-called multifluxes, which can be used for wave and selective soldering as well as for manual and repair soldering, dip soldering and cable assembly. Some of these multifluxes are available as a powder concentrate, which enables cost-effective transportation without hazardous substance requirements. In addition, the Green Line product series was developed, which includes all ecologically sustainable, water-based fluxes. In addition to alcohol-based, water-based and hybrid fluxes, Emil Otto also offers a whole range of standard cleaning media that have been specially developed for electronics production. The portfolio includes assembly cleaners as well as cleaning media for stencil, painting frame or general machine cleaning.

Emil Otto also introduced the Etimol cleaning series in 2018. The portfolio includes products for stencil cleaning, cleaning of soldering systems and dispensing equipment, including conformal coating systems, assembly cleaners and cleaners for soldering and conformal coating frames. This is a completely new, innovative and sustainable cleaning series that has been specially developed for use in electronics production.
