Description

The electronic flux EO-F-002, based on alcohol and water, was developed for wave, selective, dip and hand soldering processes as well as cable assembly. It can be applied using all standard application methods (including foam fluxing). The solids content is 2.7 wt.-%.
In practice, it has been shown that when used correctly, washing of PCBs soldered with this flux can be largely dispensed with. IC testing with needle adapters is generally not affected.

Customer added value

  • Wide range of applications (multiflux)
  • Very good soldering properties (capillarity, wetting)
  • Broad process window (high thermal stability, good activity over a long interval)
  • Very good residue behavior (optically very clean, high SIR)
