Solar flux gels for solar module manufacturing
Emil Otto manufactures solar flux gels for the production of solar modules. The solar flux gels have been specially developed for soldering solar modules, tabber and stringer material as well as for connecting solar cells. They are based on the proven activators of Emil Otto's solar fluxes and thus prevent undesirable cross-reactions.
Optimal properties for solar module manufacturing
The solar flux gels are optimally adapted to the requirements of modern photovoltaic production. Thanks to a highly concentrated formulation, they offer outstanding wetting, distribution and soldering quality on tin-copper metallization, which is increasingly replacing the previous tin-silver metallization.
The uniform activators in the Emil Otto solar flux gels prevent chemical interactions between different fluxes. This ensures high process reliability and consistently high product quality.

Highly concentrated solar flux gels for precise work
The solar flux is applied with extreme precision using dosing syringes or metal needles. This ensures economical consumption and exact positioning of the flux.
All solar flux gels are non-corrosive and contain no halogens. This reduces unwanted residues to a minimum and ensures reliable processing without additional cleaning steps.
Compatibility with our solar fluxes for maximum process reliability
The solar flux gels are based on the same activators as the proven solar fluxes from Emil Otto. This makes them ideal for series production and prevents unwanted cross-reactions.
As Emil Otto, we are the only manufacturer in the world to offer both solar fluxes and solar flux gels on a common activator basis for solar module production. As a result, customers benefit from consistent quality and a highly reliable soldering process.
