"We can be very satisfied with the course of the trade fair and the results we have already seen," explains Geßner. "We were able to address a large number of potential key accounts, which was not possible compared to our first trade fair appearance in 2015. This shows that we are reaching ever larger customer groups with our marketing and communication concept and are addressing the right topics on the customer side with our products," says Geßner, describing his experiences at the trade fair stand.
In addition to the familiar standard products, the expanded Mulit-Flux series and the water-based selective flux EO-G-001 were presented. "The advantages of these environmentally friendly fluxes are obvious," explains Geßner. Water-based fluxes are non-flammable. Alcohols, on the other hand, have a flash point of 12°C and are therefore highly flammable. This results in advantages in production, transportation, storage and handling, as these products are not subject to dangerous goods classification. "We have seen extremely positive demand for EO-G-001 in particular," confirms Sales Manager Carlos Kelm.
In addition to all the new products and customer meetings, there was also something to celebrate. Emil Otto GmbH celebrated its 115th anniversary and invited partners, customers and representatives of the press. "We are therefore probably the oldest company to have taken part in SMT 2016," Geßner says mischievously.
