The leading developer of fluxes for the solar industry is thus once again expanding its range of solar fluxes in 2025 to include innovative solutions for assembly and connection technology in solar module production.
The new SOLAR FLUX-EO-S-022 flux has a solids content of 2 % and has been specially developed for soldering solar modules, tabber and stringer material as well as for cell connection. The colorless, transparent no-clean flux is based on a synthetic resin and rosin-free formulation. The new solar flux impresses with its strong activation, leaves no sticky residue and is non-corrosive. The activators are also specially designed for the high temperatures of solar module production processes. The flux EO-S-002 is also available as a quick-drying variant EO-S-022/FD. Emil Otto also offers the flux as flux gel SOLAR FLUX GEL EO-S-022 and as a concentrate. In the latter form, the flux can be transported and stored in the conventional way with reduced volume and costs.
"This is a particularly important factor for module manufacturers abroad."
Markus Geßner, Head of Marketing and Sales at Emil Otto GmbH

Flux gels especially for the solar industry
In addition to the new flux, Emil Otto will also be presenting the recently introduced flux gels for the solar industry for the first time at Intersolar Europe. As the new flux gels SOLAR FLUX GEL EO-S-002, SOLAR FLUX GEL EO-S-007 and SOLAR FLUX GEL EO-S-009 are based on the fluxes specially developed for the solar industry, they have the same activators.
Emil Otto will be presenting its product portfolio from May 7 to 9 at stand 317 in hall A2 at the Intersolar Europe 2025 in Munich.
