„Wir haben die letzten Monate dazu genutzt, unser Produktsortiment für unsere Kunden weiter auszubauen“, erklärt Markus Geßner, Marketing- und Vertriebsleiter der Emil Otto GmbH. Mit den Neuprodukten EO-Y-005 und -006 wird das Sortiment der alkohol- und wasserbasierenden Flussmittel erweitert. „Bei diesen Flussmitteln handelt es sich um Hybrid-Flussmittel mit einem Alkoholanteil. Aufgrund der wasserbasierenden Rezeptur, sind die Lötergebnisse sehr gut und die Leiterplatte nach Einsatz des Flussmittels sehr sauber. Sowohl das EO-Y-005 als auch das EO-Y-006 sind für den Einsatz auf Organic Solderability Preservative (OPS) Leiterplatten geeignet“, erklärt Geßner. Beide Flussmittel wurden für den Einsatz beim Wellen- und Selektivlöten entwickelt. Darüber hinaus können sie aber auch sowohl für das Hand- und Reparaturlöten als auch das Tauchlöten eingesetzt werden. Die Löteigenschaften sind sehr gut, besonders beim Durchstieg und der Benetzung der Leiterplatte.
The EO-Y-005 is also available in variants A, B and C. The individual variants allow customers to select a flux that is tailored to their specific application. The A variant has a low solids content of 2% and was specially developed for full-tunnel nitrogen applications. The flux guarantees very good soldering results under full nitrogen due to its wide process window and high temperature stability. The standard version, the all-round version of EO-Y-005, corresponds to the B variant, which has a solids content of 3%. This version of the EO-Y-005 is also available as a dosing pen or dosing bottle. The third version is the C variant. This flux variant has a solids content of 4% and was specially developed for power electronics, where large component bodies have to be soldered with a low placement density. The entire EO-Y-005 series has a very low alcohol content of only 7 %.
Das EO-Y-006 hat einen Feststoffanteil von 4% sowie einen Alkoholanteil von 60%. Sowohl das EO-Y006 als auch die EO-Y-005-Serie sind ab sofort bei Emil Otto erhältlich.
