„Bei den Flussmittelpasten handelt es sich um ein pastöses Elektronikflussmittel, das beim Hand- und Reparaturlöten jeder Art eingesetzt werden kann. Des Weiteren sind Flussmittelpasten für das Tauchverzinnen sowie Spezialanwendungen geeignet“, erklärt Markus Geßner, Marketing- und Vertriebsverantwortlicher der Emil Otto GmbH. Beide ROL0-Flussmitteln zeichnen sich dadurch aus, dass sie nach dem Löten nur minimale Rückstände auf der Leiterplatte hinterlassen. Die Rückstände sind in der Regel so gering, dass sie keine zusätzliche Reinigung erfordern. Daher werden diese Flussmittelpasten als No Clean-Flussmittelpasten bezeichnet. Bei den beiden Neuprodukten handelt es sich um die Flussmittelpasten EO-FP-003 und die Flussmittelpaste nach EMIL, die sofort erhältlich sind.
The flux paste EO-FP-003 was specially developed for repair work on printed circuit boards and for applications in accordance with IPC/IPC 610. The flux paste is ideal for use during repair work, especially for assemblies subject to high stress, as even contaminated pads and component pins can be activated. Due to the good activation properties of the paste, it can be used sparingly in small, metered quantities. The flux paste can be applied using hot air and soldering irons, but also with a mini wave.
The newly introduced flux paste according to EMIL is also a no-clean flux paste, which is also characterized by strong activation properties as well as very good wetting and spreading behaviour. Due to its highly active activation properties, EMIL flux paste reliably supports the wave soldering of particularly critical components, such as THT components with brass or nickel pins. "This means that a sparingly dosed application of the paste is sufficient to achieve very good soldering results," emphasizes Geßner. Similar to the flux paste EO-FP-003, it can also be applied using hot air and soldering irons or a mini wave.
