Emil Otto introduces nozzle cleaners for various selective soldering systems

"Emil Otto "We have been offering products for cleaning soldering nozzles for a long time. However, we have never been very active in bringing them to market. That is now changing. The reason for this was the many inquiries we received from customers and system manufacturers," explains Markus Geßner, Marketing and Sales Manager at Emil Otto GmbH. As the company has developed additional cleaning products in response to customer requests, the importance of this product group has changed for the company. Emil Otto will be showcasing its entire soldering aid product line for the first time at SMT 2018, which includes the EO-COVERFLUID TESU, various nozzle cleaners, and the Tip-Cleaner for cleaning and activating soldering iron tips.

In addition to the flux paste NC-260/RF EO "Nozzle Clean", the cleaning agents EO-NCF-001 and EO-NCF-1003 have been developed. EO-NCF-001 is a special cleaning fluid for automatic nozzle cleaning, while EO-NCF-1003 was developed for general nozzle cleaning. All three cleaning agents achieve very good results in their respective application forms. For example, the cleaning effect on scaling and dross deposits on uncoated solder nozzles of selective soldering systems is very good.

The NC-260/RF EO flux paste can be dispensed precisely thanks to a syringe. The cleaning fluids EO-NCF-001 and EO-NCF-1003, on the other hand, are available in packaging units of 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml or 1 l. All cleaning media do not separate during storage. NC-260/RF "Nozzel Clean" and the cleaner EO-NCF-1003 are also 100 % VOC-free.
